Specialist, Molecular Biologist F. Deniz Kanot Aksu Biography

Specialist, Molecular Biologist F. Deniz Kanot Aksu earned her Bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology and Genetics at İnönü University from 2011 to 2017. From 2017 to 2020, she completed her Master’s degree in Medical Genetics at Başkent University.

During her Master’s research, she worked on a project investigating the significance of BMP4 gene mutations in patients with congenital anomalies of the kidney and urinary tract (CAKUT). Additionally, her thesis included an in vitro qualitative analysis of BCR/ABL gene synthesis using the CRISPR/Cas9 system.

Since 2023, she has been working at the SMARTGEN Genetic Disease Assessment Center as an Expert Molecular Biologist.
